Technology has has a great influence upon communication. The invention of cell phone, made people communicate more easy with people at big distances, even across the ocean. The information was quicker received and so, communication improved. Also with the appearance of computers, laptops and internet, internet communication, virtual communication became a success. People can talk online with friends or can make new friends. The online domain is full of surprises. Many people meet their better half online or just start long friendships.
Technology Influence on Communication, is quite impressive. If it weren’t for the new invention and the latest technology, communication remained at the level it was. Technology also means tvs, tv shows, programs, commercials etc. Communication media is another way of communicating. Through televised commercials,reality shows, movies and serials, we receive different messages and information. This communication could have never existed without technology, so the relationship between these two is a tight one.Communication is of many ways. People communicate verbally and non verbally. For example the verbal communication is the one we know made through words. In here we can include also the written communication made through letters and email. Verbal communication is as much influenced by technology as non verbal communication. Non verbal one, is done through body language. People need to pay more attention to the way they speak, their gestures, posture, face expressions etc. Communication is known to be a two way process: it needs a sender, a receiver and a message. In order to receive the right message, people need to make sure the message is clear and there are no barriers in communication such as: misunderstanding and not listening.
Communication and technology can’t exist one without the other . Technology has developed since 1973, when Martin Cooper invented the cell phone. Nowadays we have cell phones that act and have keyboards just as real computers. We can enter online from our phone, film, record and make pictures, send data and receive data ,receive faxes and send mails. We never know where tomorrow might lead us, but one thing it’s sure, technology won’t stop from evolving, just as communication won’t stay in one place. In the end, people don`t need much. Everyone has at least a cell phone nowadays, there is no house without a computer, we all have ipods , stereos, little gadgets that make our life easier. Technology helps us in our day to day life. Cars are great technologies, at work technology is everywhere, at home the same etc.
