Technology has reached a certain level in the last few years. Advancing in technology means an increase in our level of knowledge. 20 years ago we didn't have cell phones and internet and look at our society today, when everything is controlled through remote controls and anything that appears on the market is electronic. Technology means growth, advancement and information. Communication is essential in technology as well as in personal relationships.

When phones were invented communication developed greatly. Through technology we can communicate more easily with others. The internet also facilitates communication. Computers and internet helps us talk to friends and make new friends online. Communication at distance was something amazing many years ago. Nowadays we can take our computer with us where ever we go, we can enter online from anywhere with wireless internet, we can talk to relatives or friends from another country etc.

Technology and Human Communication go hand in hand. One can`t exist without the other. Technology has increased the level of communication. because communication is of many types, here are some ways of communicating: IT communication, network communication, medium communication, data communication, media communication etc. Human communication consists of oral communication and nonverbal communication.

Verbal communication is the one made through words and also in writing and non verbal refers to body language. The body of a person, the gestures, posture, face expression when talking, send a certain message that has to concord with what that person in saying in order to have a good communication. Communication is a two way process that usually implies a sender, a receiver and a message. For the communication to be ok, people need to send a clear message and that message has to be understood. The barriers that appear when communicating are misunderstanding, multiple meanings and not listening.

Technology and Human Communication are two things that complete each other. Through technology people have learned how to receive and send information more quicker. Technology such as cell phones , has become a necessity. Everyone has at least one cell phone these days. People talk on the phone about anything, close deals, make declarations, solve problems etc. The phone is a base item in communication, that’s why nowadays without a cell phone you don’t exist. People can’t reach you and so, technology and communication don’t exist one without the other.

In the end, technology and communication are two important elements in our society. Without them everything would be chaos, especially without communication. people need to communicate in order to get along with each other, to have a good successful career, to have a normal happy family life. Communicating is essential to not be a loner. Everyone communicates, even deaf and blind people, that have developed a language of their own.
