How Has Technology Changed Communication
The base types of communication are those we know: verbal and nonverbal communication. the first one includes the spoken communication made orally, through words and it can be also in writing and the second one is through body language. We communicate in many ways. Our body can send certain messages without us knowing, that’s why we have to pay more attention at our gestures, posture and most importantly face expressions.
Other types of communication made verbally are formal and informal. The first one is usually used in workplaces, in meetings, when meeting a new person, at social gatherings etc. Formal language means respecting some rules , is a strict communication. Informal, on the other hand, is casual and is our usual communication with others. These types of communication are the most common ones. Besides these, communication has developed greatly.
Since, technology is in a continuous increase, communication has also increased. The two processes are linked together and so, it’s normal to co-depend. How Has Technology Changed Communication? Well , technology has brought on the market many new gadgets that facilitate communication. For example we have: mobile phones, computers, laptops, GPS, mp3players, Powerpoint program and many others. Each one of these things promote and help a type of communication. Mobile phones help us communicate verbally at distance, with friends, or relatives etc.
Computers and laptops have started to become a necessity. Through internet we can communicate globally with just a click away. There are many programs that allow us to make friends, send data, pictures , songs etc. Technology has Changed Communication in a good way , a more productive way. Another great example is visual communication. Visual means communicating through images, texts projected on a screen. This type of communication is rather new and mostly used by companies in showing projects, plans etc.
Also, nowadays because of the new technology we can communicate from our mobile phone on the internet. We can receive faxes and we can send emails. Technology is improving, and in a few years who knows were communication will arrive? The new generation of kids get more accustomed to the latest technology because they grow up with it. Adults and people after a certain age are more slow in receiving information. there have appeared also mobile phones for seniors, meaning cell phones with only a few buttons , big buttons that call instantly police and a few personal numbers.
As a conclusion, people are eager to communicate, are opened to new ideas and brand new technologies. We always want more, and we always get more. It’s important for a society to develop in technology and information, that’s why communication is a base element.

About the only negative impact that technology has had on human communication is that it's driving us to distraction. We are in constant communication both with the people around us and with those far away. We no longer pay full attention to anything, we are less present.

How could this possibly get you a 100 on a university paper? There's almost no information here. Whatever university you're going to must not be a very good one. You should attend a better university where they don't hand out 100's.
