Communication is essential for everyone, be it a sports team, a government unit, an individual, an educational set up or a business. Communication is important for association of individuals as well, be it a personal friendly relationship, a marriage or any other form of association. Lack of communication or failure to communicate can lead to complex and irresolvable problems involving human emotions and thoughts. Let us look at the problems that arise because of failure to communicate.

Communication: An obvious fact
Communication seems quite obvious to all of us. It is as obvious as staying together after marriage. However, it is only communication that is responsible when things go wrong. Important things might get missed out, information might get filtered out. Time spent on communication related activity might prove out to be waste.

How to Avoid Failure to Communicate?
In order to avoid failure to communicate, you need to get a little more understanding and try to do your homework in a proper fashion. Follow the below mentioned tips in order to avoid any failure to communicate:
• Be a good listener: Developing effective communication skill means that you should do not face any misunderstanding because of poor listening skills, IT also means that you suppress your urge to speak while others are speaking
• Speak Straightforward: To ensure clear communication from your end, try avoiding making a matter complex by adding more and more points and sub points to it. If possible, state your point with the help of an example. Be accurate and robust in your speech
• Control your actions: Do not allow your actions to mislead what you are stating through words. Allow your body language to be in synchronization with the flow of your words.
• Think before you speak: If possible, try to be making an agenda before you speak. Try to design innovation in your speech.
• Respect and reinforcement: Respect opinion of each other, especially in a team scenario. Reinforce your ideas, if you strongly believe in them.
• Clarity is necessary: Write speech to bring in clarity in your conversation and reflect clarity of thoughts. Speak up openly and let people know what is there in your mind.

Effective communication can help you in many ways. It can also help you to read other people’s minds. It can help you to contribute in any situation. You can become capable of conducting a meeting and guiding opinions. Failure to communicate, on the other hand, can let you down in front of others. It can dampen your relationship or may also lead you to depression as well. Thus, you should make all possible attempts from your end to become an effective communicator,
